Her omamori has been strapped on her thigh so she doesn't need to reach over and touch it in order to summon her Persona, Malphas, a crow/demon hybrid. He's outrageously tall, shooting above two meters and pretty lanky, but he doesn't hesitate in casting Atomic Flare, a bright blue nuclear explosion in Nero's position with severe damage. ]

[ Nero knows how to fight but more importantly he knows how to dodge an attack or two. Atomic Flare manages to leave a few him with a few scratches and it's nothing too damaging. ]

Wow, nice! It's like one of those magician party tricks. You won't get lucky a second time.

[ He starts cranking up the gear on his sword while aiming it forward. ]

[ Right. It's daytime and Malphas's magic stat is shoddy. No wonder the strongest nuclear magic doesn't work as well. Change of plans. She has Malphas go... somewhere, but it looks like he's fleeing the scene. 45 doesn't look all that bothered though and links her exoskeleton onto her leg as easily as flipping a switch. ]

[ Something odd is going on because he can sense that his power is sealed away. Fighting under these circumstances isn't exactly ideal. Nero backs off for a moment.]

[He's standing there for a solid minute in confusion. ]

If you can't handle fighting, you shouldn't have picked one in the first place~

[ 45 is also at fault, but she enjoys making people feel bad, so. Yeah. Malphas comes back, with 45's submachine gun. ]

[ She casually aims her gun at Nero. ]

[He huffs and puffs angrily. Nero's still standing in his fighting stance.]

[Honestly the only thing he's gonna do is run up to 45 and attempt to disarm her.]

[ 45 has evasive equipment combined with how speedy she is in the first place, so she easily gets out of Nero's way and shoots his head several times with rubber bullets. Nothing fatal. ]

So you only pick fights when you think you have an advantage? That's real shameful.

[Also she manages to hit him square in the face ...because he's clearly distracted.]

What did you shoot just now? It looks way too small to be an actual bullet.

[It seems like rubber or foam. How curious. 45 has some weird tricks up her sleeve.]

[ She get that big old submachine gun and smack it across Nero's head akin to pistol whipping. ]

[He attempts to block any incoming attacks with his sword.]

[ Nero takes a second to pull out his gun in return. There is an answer for this.]

I sure wouldn't stab you with a gun, but--

[ She pulls out a sword hilt that has 2 inches of blade. It's awfully puny, but it has a very high chance of inflicting charm/brainwash, so she'll attempt to try and make any cut on Nero with it while shooting rubber bullets (but painful as they have something like sharp beast teeth pointing out of them). ]

[ Nero's first mistake is thinking it's not a big deal. All he's going to get is a tiny scratch and he'll move out of harms way.

He understimates its power and starts to feel funny afterwards.]

Maybe we could just be friends...or forget about fighting. I don't need to prove anything. All I want is a hug.

[ 45 grins and lowers her gun. ]

The haunted inn doesn't sound so bad.
